YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream

Ich habe das Problem wenn ich Videos schneller als die normale Geschwindigkeit anschaue, die Pause Taste auf meinem Kopfhörer nicht mehr funktioniert. Wenn ich die Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit wieder auf normal (1x) umstelle funktioniert diese einwandfrei. Alles was schneller als "normal" ist z.B. 1,5x oder 2,0x deaktiviert leider diese Taste. Ich habe die Bose QC35 II Bluetooth Kopfhörer.

Holding a monopoly over video distribution (this may not hold water legally, but who uploads vlogs to Vimeo?) means that YouTube - through Google - has unbridled capacity to act however it pleases, to the extreme detriment of its userbase. As a user experience, YouTube is broken. It’s not buggy or rough around the edges or somewhat overclocked. The app crashed constantly, any semblance of coherent user interface was drowned in unending ads of questionable repute, and tries to jam a Shorts-shaped peg into the rest of the platform’s medium-to-longform content-shaled hole. This is why I now use YouTube in my browser, which it crashes constantly, drowns in gambling ads even though I turned that category off, and Shorts are as virulent as ever. What’s funny to me is how brazenly Google insists on ruining everything it touches. As if I’d rather switch off my adblocker and be swaddled in the comforting neon glow of the apocalypse, than be alone with my thoughts while waiting for Safari to crash.

1. It’s not on obvious how I can stopp automatic translation in the app. On the webversion it’s easier. I went via subtitle settings but it does not stopp translation. I want to watch the original voice. 2. And then of cause this terrible YouTube commercials. Either it’s some really bad gaming ad worth half naked woman’s and war scenes or some badly made ads with some dudes who want to sell me another course about self improvement or trading. 3. YouTube premium is to expensive. I had it in India for one month because it was cheap but in Germany I never going to pay the price YouTube is asking

Also dass die Sprach als Audiotrack in meine Sprache übersetzt wird nervt unheimlich. Bitte Funktion einbauen dass man das für immer abstellen kann. Ich will die Videos auf Original Englisch und nicht auf KI Deutsch hören. Schrecklich aktuell

Advertisement in course of live streams of - among others - congressional hearings ? Seriously? Get your act together before active curtailing is inevitable... And when you have your hands on it you can disable that braindead automatic translation. Contrary what the ignorant product owners and developers believe... there are people educated and knowledgeable enough to decide _on_their_own_ if they need some haywire translation which deliver at best cringeworthy results. Let the user decide. Don't decide for them. Otherwise the American people could come to the conclusion that you are deliberately serving fake news and are a part of deep-state and Epstein-class ...
